By now, you’ve heard about the latest trend taking over breakfast tables and brunch spots? It’s the ‘toast craze’! From avocado to hummus, people are getting creative with their toast toppings!
One of the stars of this trend is the smoked salmon toast. Picture this: perfectly toasted sourdough bread, luscious cream cheese, and decadent smoked salmon, all topped with a delicious concoction of bursting flavors. It’s like a party in your mouth!
Not only is smoked salmon toast tasty, but it’s also packed with health benefits. Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for your heart and brain. Plus, it’s a good source of protein, keeping you full and satisfied until your next meal. From our surplus of salmon, we typically will smoke one or two batches every summer. It’s salty and sweet, tender and chewy at the same time. I absolutely love it and it’s a great way to preserve some of our catch. It’s also AMAZING on toast!
So, why not join the toast craze and whip up a batch of smoked salmon toast? It’s easy, healthy, and oh-so-delicious. Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself craving it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. After all, who can resist a good piece of toast?
This recipe couldn’t be simpler. It’s a matter of gathering these delicious ingredients together and packing them on some quality bread. Your taste buds will be screaming for MORE!
